Snowy Pines is dedicated to the sound health, good-natured temperament
and longevity of life of the Bernese Mountain Dog. I believe that I
can make a positive impact on the future of this breed by educating
others on the critical issues that are affecting the breed. I need to
remain active in all the areas that the dogs participate to reach more
people in our educational efforts. These areas include:
Obedience/Rally, Conformation, Drafting, Tracking, Agility, Therapy,
and Family Companions. As a breeder, I feel it is important to remain
active in both Local and National clubs. Together our voices will be
heard more clearly. Currently, I am an active member in: The Bernese
Mountain Dog Club of Greater Seattle, Bernese Mountain Dog Club of
Oregon, Bernese Mountain Dog Club of America and the Bernese Mountain
Dog Club of Canada.
Snowy Pines is a small breeding
program. I have one or two litters per year. I'm
committed to building relationships and supporting the families that
take home my puppies. I'm strongly invested in the
growth, health and development of all the puppies I
produce. Family support comes in the forms of
guidance, training tips, resources and open communication
throughout the life of your Snowy Pines puppy. I never claim to have
all of the answers, rather I enjoy my partnerships with the
families. I require full litter health clearances on all pups
produced. This allows me to have a complete picture of a litter and to
be able to make the most informed breeding decisions for my
program. All health statistics (passing or failures) are promptly
provided to Berner Garde for full disclosure. The dogs used
in my breeding program and those that I choose to combine
my lines with all have passing hips/elbows, eyes, heart, and Von
Wilderbrands certifications.
My dogs live in my home
with me and are an integral part of my daily life. Puppies are
socialized from birth by being surrounded by my daily activities
with friends, family and enormous amounts of love.
